Kicking off Auskick 2026 in London

We’re thrilled to officially launch the Auskick London 2026 season and can’t wait to welcome families back for another summer of footy fun! 

After a fantastic return last year, this year is shaping up to be even bigger and better, with more sessions, more opportunities to play, and plenty of exciting updates based on parent feedback. 

Meet the Team 

This year, Auskick London will be jointly coordinated by Christina and Rafe, who will be your main points of contact throughout the season. While stepping into a new role as Co-Chair of AFL London, Charley remains very much involved behind the scenes, continuing to support the programme as it grows. 

What’s New for 2026? 

We’ve listened to feedback from parents and made some exciting changes: 

• More sessions advertised in advance  

• Sessions scheduled approximately every three weeks across the summer (instead of monthly)  

• A minimum of 8 sessions across the year 

• A mix of Saturday and Sunday sessions  

• Closer alignment with the AFL London season, giving families more chances to watch live footy in London  

• Opportunities to play at a variety of locations across London  

  
  

Keeping It Fun and Inclusive 

As always, Auskick sessions are designed to be: 

• Fun and engaging  

• Inclusive for all abilities  

• Tailored to a wide range of age groups  

  
  

All sessions are run by DBS-checked volunteers, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for every child. 

Session One Details 

Here’s everything you need to know for our first session: 

• 📅 Date: Sunday 26 April 2026  

• ⏰ Time: 11:45am arrival (12:00pm start)  

• ⏱ Duration: Approximately 1 hour  

• 📍 Location: Hyde Park (old football pitches, Brompton Place, SW7 1SG)  

We ask that all parents complete the session one form by Friday 24 April 2026. 

If you have signed up to the expression of interest previously, you would have received the details and the sign up form last week via email.
