AFL London has always been an inclusive league and now will be one of the most stylish going around.
Heading into the new footy season also means getting ready to celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride. AFL London has long held the tradition of marching in the London Pride parade and this year we’ll have the chance to do so in one of our coolest Pride jerseys ever.
Our new limited edition Pride top is definitely one of the most unique yet and represents every LGBTQ+ community, thanks to design superstar Sia Smith’s ingenious idea.
The AFL London legend came up with a beautiful print of colourful flora which cleverly shows off every kind of flag in the LGBTQ+ community, from lesbian to asexual, and transgender to intersex.
“The leaves represent the individuality of people, because leaves are different in their own unique way,” Sia explains, adding that “the leaves are merged together on the jersey with the various colours to represent the inclusivity of AFL London and the interconnectedness of LGBTQ+ people.”
This is a limited edition jersey, so get in early if you don’t want to miss out. Cutoff for ordering is April 15.
